I bought this for my Mother.She is 86 years old and has rhumatoid arthritis.Staying warm is important to her because it helps the pain.I bought a higher priced product than I would have for myself because,well it’s my Mother.When it arrived I talked to her and she said I got ripped off.The material is very thin.More like a heated sheet than a blanket.The color is not blue like it was pictured.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!It did work but a sunbeam for half the price would have been a better deal and product and I bet the color would have been same as pictured.I guess I could have sent it back but Mom lives 250 miles away and It would have all been on her.In the end I just bought a sunbeam at walmart.Half the price.

I’ve owned several types of electric blankets through the years and this one is the best by far. I have had the same blanket for years,several washings and it still works perfectly. I ordered a new one this year at Amazon for a present but the person already had one so I’m quite happy to keep my new one.

The blanket warms gradually; then maintains the same temperature throughout the night. Unlike the Sunbeam, it has not significantlly pilled.

After 3 major disappointments with another manufacturer I was so pleased to get this electric blanket that actually works! and works well! The electric mattress pad is great too!
