How Do You Wash A Electric Blanket?

   You can ask a dry cleaner if they can do it for you, if you really don’t want to ruin it if it’s expensive. If it were just me though, I would be fine washing it on low spin in a washing machine, and letting it air dry. I do the same thing for my warming blanket (and expensive sweat shirts) because they can’t be put in the dryer.
   You could also try to seal any exposed wires if you want, but the as long as the blanket is dried right away, and not sitting in water for a long time, nothing should rust -and as far as my experience with cellphones, mp3 players, and other electronics, a little water in the washing machine, or the occasional toilet water, never hurt anyone.

   ~~There are some which are washable and some that are not. I would contact the manufacturer to find out which type you have. If you don’t know their name, see if the store you purchased it from can help you figure it out. Otherwise, you can’t take a chance if it isn’t safe to wash.~~

   my tag says to wash on gentle cycle, cold water, with mild soap in a large washer and to not put it in the dryer – hang/drape to dry.
   The main issue is to avoid crimping/smashing the wires.

   They are machine washable and dryable. I would wash on delicate and dry on low, or air dry.

   All electric blankets are washable. They almost have to be. I wash warm and tumble dry on perm press.
