How Warm Is An Electric Blanket?

I have an injured foot that always feels chilled unless I keep it in really warm conditions. I had had the heat up really high, but now I can’t do that because I have a roommate. Heaping on tons of blankets is very uncomfortable for it and doesnt work very well anyway since it doesnt generate enough heat.
Anyway,, how warm is an electric blanket? Could you have it equivalent to having the heat up to 85 F? And would safety be an issue?

I’ve always had electric blankets and they are safer now than ever before. There are a lot of built-in safeguards and if you use your electric blanket according to the manufacturers directions, there will not be a problem. Most electric blankets have 8-10 heat settings. The higher the number, the higher the heat. You could easily have the temperature 85F. That’s what I’m most comfortable at (I’m a Floridian) so I’m sure the electric blanket will get that warm. I use mine all winter because I can’t stand being cold.

it makes your bed nice and warm but when you get in
you switch off the blanket unless you want to be electrocuted
