What Electric Blanket Brands Can You Think Of And Where Are They Sold?

I’ve only been wanting one since I was a kid. Now that I’m an Adult my mom’s boyfriend wants to pay to get me one (or pay me back for one I find).
I Absolutely will not use Sunbeam. All these years of wanting an Electric Blanket has made me notice all the fires and recalls relateing to Sunbeam. I also have bought Sunbeam products before and they work wonders for a week to a month then break down or are useless.

I purchased three “Sunbeam” Electric blankets two years ago as Christmas gifts for my parents and grand parents and they are all still working well. Familiarize yourself with the care, washing and storage of these blankets because they have a tendency to quit working if you do not take care of them properly. The wires can get broken if you are not careful about tucking them in under the mattress or if stored with something heavy on top of it. (Read the instructions.)
Wal-Mart or Target usually carry them during fall and winter as well as any large department store like JC Penny or Sears.
Caution: Electric blankets should never be used by anyone who is Diabetic, Incapacitated by illness or dementia, pregnant or wearing any type of medication that is in a patch form such as morphine, nicotine or hormone patches to name a few.
